You may have heard Unity ministers tell you that we interpret the Bible “metaphysically.” Do you want to have a deeper understanding of what that means? Beneath the literal sense of the Bible, interpreters have for over 2,000 years discerned symbolic meanings related to divine truths and spiritual realities contained within it. Unity’s approach to scripture is to study the Ultimate Reality beyond the literal or historical approaches to forge a closer union with the Divine.

In this class, you will experience the rewarding and surprisingly practical process of the Unity way of Bible interpretation. Together, we will create a step-by-step method for metaphysical interpretation of selected passages from Hebrew Scriptures and apply those meanings to our lives.
